	Equimec Paste	Contains: Ivermectin 18.7g/kg. One tube treats 600kg bodyweight. Retreatment interval is 6 - 8 weeks. Effective against large & small strongyles, pinworms, roundworms, hairworms, large mouth stomach worms, neck & intestinal threadworms, bots, lungworms & summer sores.  Does not treat tapeworms. Safe in horses of all ages, including breeding stallions & pregnant mares.  Foals should be initially treated at 6 - 8 weeks of age. Precautions:  Some horses have experienced reactions and swelling & itching shortly after treatment.  In most cases these horses have been diagnosed as carrying heavy infections of Onchocerca microfilariae, and it is assumed the reactions were the result of microfiliariae dying in large numbers.  Although the signs have resolved in a few days, symptomatic treatment may be advisable.  Consult your veterinarian if these clinical signs persist.
